Mercer Vine is elated to announce its exclusive partnership with K17 Music, a non-profit that supports musical excellence with intimate classical performances by prodigious artists set in Los Angeles' architecturally stunning estates.

Mercer Vine Collaborates with K17 Music

Founded in 2015 by cellist Evengy Tonkha and entrepreneur Nathan Frankel, the K17 concert series were originally held at Frankel’s former residence at the famed Oak Pass home (designed by world-renowned architect Noah Walker).  A board director for the Colburn School and the L.A. Philharmonic, Frankel founded the performance program in an effort to “integrate its audience with the leading musicians and musical masterpieces of the world amid the intimate atmosphere of an architecturally stunning residence.”

Upon selling the house last year, Frankel began exploring new and varied estates to host a new series of K17 fundraising performances. Mercer Vine, which specializes in classic properties and architecturally-significant redesigns, was a natural partner.

An Evening of Music, Wine, and Architecture

This first concert in this ongoing series held at Justin Mandile’s new listing at 2515 Glendower Avenue and featured performances from the critically acclaimed duo, Winkler-Kellerer.

Originally built in 1936, this newly redesigned home is beautifully nestled in the lush and historic Los Feliz hills. At 5,000 square feet, this five bedroom, five and a half bathroom fully integrated smart home features high-end finishes throughout, such as natural Italian stone and marble. Accordion-style doors open to the lush yard and large pool deck, with an infinity pool and spa that illuminate as a mirror image of the sky. To top it off, the property boasts incredibly iconic views of the Downtown LA skyline and rolling hills. It was the perfect home to begin this new collaboration with Nathan Frankel and K17 Music.

“Nathan’s work with talented musicians is awe-inspiring. To combine our love for architecture and art with Nathan’s inspiration to elevate incredible talent and culture creates a feeling that can’t be described.”
