Meet Gilad Schiowitz
Gilad Schiowitz is an estate agent with Mercer Vine. As a licensed broker in New York and California, Gilad has enjoyed success in the most competitive real estate markets in the country. In New York, he quickly established his own real estate firm and had the opportunity to work with some of the largest developers in the city. Additionally, he has also been featured on numerous television networks for his work as a broker. What brought Gilad to Los Angeles, however, is its distinctive mixture of architecture and design. “I’m passionate about the influence L.A. has on me,” he says. “The city’s energy, challenge, and people are all reflected in its design, and it’s absolutely inspiring.” When it comes to architecture, Gilad’s taste is eclectic. In addition to more traditional luxury homes, he also admires unusual designs that force the viewer to reexamine their concept of space. Asian minimalist homes, eco-friendly homes, and shipping container homes are all of great interest to Gilad, while his favorite architects include Frank Gehry and Frank Lloyd Wright.
When it concerns his clientele, Gilad is most concerned about creating the perfect measure of trust. “I understand the stress and apprehension that accompanies buying or selling a home. My number one priority is to ensure that my clients’ transitions are as smooth as possible,” he explains. Causes close to Gilad’s heart include the American Cancer Society, The Crohn’s Colitis Foundation, and the ASPCA.
