Meet Tara Hotchkis
Los Angeles native, Tara Hotchkis has been a top producing real estate agent for over a decade, with recent sales of more than $300 million in residential real estate.
In 2015, Mercer Vine Senior Partner, Tara Hotchkis and Mercer Vine C.O.O., Dominic Labriola began a partnership as Labriola | Hotchkis & Partners and together in 2017 the partners represented Major League Baseball Player, Ichiro Suzuki in the sale of his Downtown Los Angeles Art’s District Penthouse Loft, setting a new price per square foot record in Downtown Los Angeles’ Boomtown. In addition to representing celebrities and high profile individual and corporate clients from DTLA to Malibu, the pair recently launched Mercer Vine’s International Division, personally representing a country estate in Kinsale, Ireland and St. Tropez, France.
In addition to real estate, Tara is passionate about contemporary art and design. She supports several non-profit arts organizations including PS Arts, is the co-owner of Downtown Los Angeles’ Hotchkis Gallery, is an Ambassador for the Los Angeles Public Library Foundation’s Young Literati, sits on the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) Decorative Arts and Design Council, and is a member of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art’s (MOCA) Directors Forum. Tara is a member of SAG-AFTRA, having appeared in numerous television shows and commercials. In 2013, Tara combined her passion for art and architecture and co-hosted “The Kuhnert Chronicles” for Ovation Television Network.
Tara currently lives and works in Downtown Los Angeles with her wife, Carey. “Downtown LA is experiencing such an exciting period of growth right now,” Tara says. “With more than 94 new real estate development projects scheduled over the next 5 years—I feel so fortunate to be a part of it!”
Outside of real estate, Tara enjoys travel, long walks on the beach and volunteering. She is a former NCAA Division I tennis player and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine.
